Yvonne San Juan, M.S., CCC-SLP holds a Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University. She has been working in the Anchorage School District since 2009, and has experience working with children ages 3-12. Yvonne is experienced in evaluating and treating a variety of speech and language delays and/or disorders including phonological and articulation disorders, early language development, receptive and expressive language, pragmatic (social) language, and fluency. She has a special interest in working with children on the autism spectrum. Yvonne believes that therapy should be fun and engaging for children, while simultaneously achieving speech and language goals. She also understands the needs of busy families, and enjoys providing caregivers with practical activities that they can easily incorporate into their daily routines to facilitate speech and language development at home. In her spare time, Yvonne enjoys reading a good book, cooking, and spending time with her energetic boys (Isaac and Caden) and her husband Jeff.
